Additional options you may consider to take your film to another level

Additional Videographer

You may feel that an additional videographer is needed to capture your wedding day, because there's lots going on at different locations or due to the size of the wedding. Any package can be upgraded to include a second videographer or even more if required.

Why a second camera?

If you want additional angles of the event which occur at the same time, like: Ceremony, speeches, first dance, fireworks,  or if you fancy getting more creative shots like sliding shots, jib crane shots, etc; then a second shooter might be a good option.

We only use the best operators and availability checking is advised in advance.

Any of our options can have an additional videographer on the day. Prices start from price stated below. We can give bespoke timings to save costs POA.

Aerial Filming UAV/Drone

Aerial Filming - otherwise known as the WOW factor! This option is available to our clients through our dedicated aerial specialist.

We offer aerial photography and drone filming services for your special day. We provide
high resolution photography and capture video in stunning UHD 4K and 1080p HD. Our experience is extensive, including real world aviation, radio control aircraft design, and more than 25 years in film, TV camera production, and photography. 

Are we qualified?

Yes! To operate as a UAV pilot in the UK, it is a legal requirement to have the relevent qualification.

We have the RPQ-s qualification and full approval with CAA permissions for aerial work.

Employing a non approved operator without insurance is not only dangerous, but illegal. All UK pilots must have the relevant training certification, CAA permissions and PL insurance.

Our expertise in the world of TV film work and commercial photography is something we are very proud of. Our knowledge of UAV/drone technology is extensive and this dovetails nicely with our real world aviation experience.

In addition to filming we can shoot hi-res stills from the air also, to add that WOW factor to the wedding album!

Steve's Directors Cut

Your wedding film includes one edit of the full wedding day, which on average is around 90 minutes. But you may want something shorter to share with friends and family who are popping over, or perhaps miles away in another country.

The Director’s Cut is roughly an 7 - 15 minute edit of your wedding film and usually edited with more cinematic style than the main film, but can be tailored to your preferences, and it can be black and white or a mix of style and colour to suit.

Memories of the day, Highlights montage

This is very popular.

We take your favourite song and edit the best, most emotional and fun parts of the day into a highlights montage, this is for personal use only not to be shared or used in public. A sharing version is also available, this can be uploaded to social media and shared around the world, with a copyright paid track. cost for song licence is POA

Groom Prep

We all have a record of what the Bride's preparation looked and how it felt, as most Bride's choose this. But what about the Groom?

Well of course we can shot his prep also. You can now see how nervous or indeed cool he was on the morning before he said I do!

We have created some crazy montages including playing Gold at 7a.m, rock climbing, karting, clay pidgeon shooting, gym morning workouts and more! YES, all on the morning of the wedding!!! If he decides to have a slightly more laid back morning, we can shoot that and the dressing sequence and make all the guys look cool. And don't forget the groom chooses the music to compliment this sequence.

Just after the Reservoir Dogs movie came out, I was inspired by the walking sequence and the for next groom I filmed, I staged a similar look with music to go with it. This was back in 1993. I think this is a great way for the groom to have his bit of the film that reflects his personality and how he felt at that time. All with athumping soundtrack that fits his personality.

Bride Prep

Most brides have this as a crucial part of the day, and we can see why. There are so many elements to this, and it's not just hair, make-up, and popping the champagne! We include a sequence with Mum and Bride, mum doing up the dress, etc. We know that mum doesn't get to walk you down the aisle, or do a speech to say how proud she is. We bet that mum spent a lot of your life bringing you up, so our mission is to get mum on film and have a mum/daughter moment.

And then a tear jerker is when dad enters the room and sees the bride for the first time! Very emotional.

So 'brides prep' is a top choice for 99% of our brides, we recommend this too!

Floating steady camera

Technology has now afford us to use a floating camera, this is unobtrusive in its size, but can deliver and produce 4K quality!

This allows shots to seem like the camera is floating and no body mechanical movement from the camera operator, useful for photo call, first dance, bride and grooms preparation, signing of the register, it has gone down a storm with us this year and would recommend this and the drone to give your film that Hollywood look.

Additional static camera

We'll use an additional camera for cutaways, such as the Ceremony, speeches, and first dance. This provides more choices and persepctives on the day and in the final edit.

Guest Messages Directed

Want personal and direct to camera messages from your guests? Then this is the extra you need! Sometimes we get poems, words of advice, well wishes and more often than not, more drunken singing!

This has become very popular. I first had this idea in Bristol 28 years ago, when asking a Godfather if he would like to wish the Bride all the best. He gave an emotional message and that was it... I was sold in this idea, which many other companies also now do. We personally direct each speaker, so they are relaxed and I know as an editor if the message works so each message looks great after the edit.

How many messages will you get?

I circulate the evening and collate as I go. Sometimes I have a station to leave messages, and we ask as many as we can. Some prefer not to which is ok, but most do! So you have a great mix of friends, family and work collegues in the final film.

Credits

If you would like cinema style credits, we can do this for you.

You provide a word document with all names, titles like Bridesmaids etc, and we would need this at least two weeks before the day.

These are animated titles... you can even choose Star Wars titles style if that's your thing!

Love Letters on the day

This is a lovely option, where we get you to write to each other, seal the letter in an envelope, and we film you reading it on the morning.

You can read it in private with the camera rolling, or in front of each other, it's your choice.

Then we'll record a voice over of the footage using your own voices. This creates a wonderful film. We have many ways of achieving this emotional element, it is a fantastic and an absolutely lovely option.

Additional copies USB

Technology is advancing at a rate that's sometimes hard to keep up.

All weddings will be presented on a USB memory stick, but why are we doing this? Is it cheaper for us to produce? Well, glad you asked.

No, it's actually more expensive for us to produce with base cost of a memory stick and presentation case.

We're doing this because of the high quality we produce our films at and with DVD presenting a poorer version of what we produce, we decided you need to see and show our films on the highest possible quality - which means full HD/4K, (how it was meant to be seen). A USB stick is very portable, and can be used in most moder TV's, PC's and Apple Mac computers, Xbox, Playstation's etc; so with the higest quality, and portability you can watch you film anywhere in the highest quality.

We still offer DVD copies of your film for those who need it, and this comes with a fully colour hi-res printed DVD case, personalised with your images on and a description of the day.
